EDUCATION: Shannon has some college education and Courtney graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (Los Angeles), but both agree that school isn’t everything! Business ownership has provided more experience than academic schooling could have.

PERSONAL AND PRO FESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS: Courtney: My greatest professional achievement is managing my entrepreneurial business goals while always putting my family first, while my greatest personal achievement is my teenage daughter, Antonia, actually telling me that she looks up to me as an inspiration to follow her dreams and goals. That was an extremely proud moment. Shannon: My greatest professional  achievement is the fact that I actually started my own company and didn’t listen to any of the naysayers (and there were a few whom I no longer speak to) and I never looked back, thankfully! My greatest personal achievement is giving birth to my son Jack. He has changed my life in the most amazing way.

FREE ADVICE: Shannon: One piece of advice is going to be hard for me because I have so much advice to give! I guess I would say, don’t let
anyone discourage you from doing what your dream is. Just go for it! If you don’t, you will always wonder about the what-ifs and this way, at least you can say you tried, which is more than a lot of people out there can say! Courtney: Believe in yourself, push yourself and never quit at something you love.
